Noisy Neighbors

All right. What I'm about to say is not going to be nice. So if you have little baby eyes, leave.

I would really love to know why the heck the freshmen living on the floor above me decide to do WHATEVER the heck they're doing at the most inconvenient hours. It's incredibly aggravating. And, it's not like they're just moving furniture, which I would understand, or accidentally dropping something. It's a consistent banging; like 2 bangs per second (yeah, I counted). It's been going on for almost a month now, and it happens at the oddest of hours. The first time I heard it, it was at 8:30 in the freakin' morning.. FOR AN HOUR. I am not a morning person. So to say the least, I wanted to punch them in their throats. My roommate, Sarah, will hear it in the middle of the afternoon lasting for a few minutes.

Anyways, it's been going on for way too long without their RA saying something. So, last night, it went on for a few minutes at 12:30 in the morning. So, being the confrontational person that I am, I stormed upstairs to find out where the heck this noise was coming from. When I got up there, a girl was already in the hallway trying to listen to where the sound was coming from, too. We decided it was coming from room 411 (the room RIGHT above Sarah and me). The girl told them that they were making too much noise and that the floor below them was trying to sleep. They didn't even respond. That pissed me off so bad. Then, their RA woke up and came out of her room, and another girl from my hall, Allison, came to the hall.

We were all incredibly mad. The first girl left, and the RA knocked on the door. The only thing the girls said was "HANG ON." That angered me even further. I couldn't wait to lay into them. They finally opened the door, and one of the girls stuck her head out and said, "Time to be quiet?" in such a bitchy tone. I looked at her and said, "YEAH it's time to be quiet. We're RIGHT below you and we can't even go to sleep because you're being so freakin' loud, and Allison has an 8:00 class." All the loud girl said was "Okay," and shut the door in our faces.

The next time it happens during quiet hours, I'm not going to be nice and knock on the door. I'm walking in and yelling at them. I can't wait because I LOVE being mean to people who bother me.

haha, that was a pretty funny post all in all. But I could definitely understand why you were upset! That would have pissed me off as well! Have you gotten that problem resolved yet? If not, you should pull some type of prank on them like filling up a bucket of water and lean it against their door so when they open it all the water goes in their room or something.. just an idea, lol!
